Helping you comply with the gluten free regulations

The Crossed Grain Trademark scheme meets UK and European regulations on gluten free foods and food labelling. Working with us will help your business understand how to meet the strict conditions for the labelling of ‘gluten free’ on product packaging and how your products can meet the requirements of no more than 20ppm (parts per million) of gluten.

Trusted trademark for gluten free products

Once awarded, the Crossed Grain trademark can be used on the licensee’s packaging and marketing materials.

The trademark is provided under licence to businesses that meet the scheme requirements, and businesses can apply for a European or a Global Crossed Grain Trademark licence, depending on where the product is sold. We can help you decide which is the right licence for you.

The licence with us is renewed annually and with a sliding fee scale, the scheme is accessible to all sizes of registered food businesses.
