Great Ormond Street Hospital achieve Gluten Free Accreditation

We’re pleased to share that patient catering at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust is now Gluten Free Accredited.

A venue holding Gluten Free Accreditation means their gluten free meals are prepared and served in line with strict regulations, containing no more than 20 parts per million of gluten. This gives patients who need a gluten free diet confidence that their food is safe and suitable for them.

The team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children worked through our thorough and rigorous accreditation process, demonstrating a strong understanding of what gluten free really means for people with coeliac disease.

We’re proud to support healthcare settings that invest in the training, processes and commitment needed to deliver safe gluten free food, helping children and families feel reassured during what can already be a challenging time.  Thank you to the teams at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children for their dedication to patient safety and inclusive care.
